Animated Shortmovie " War in the Mind " by Florian Pahler

Humanity strives for love and harmony, even in times of war. A woman, weakened by flight and displacement, marries a homecomer whom she believed to be in love with before the war. But rather than live in peace from then on, the man begins to tyrannise his wife. The hatred and sorrow that his tyranny brings with it also affect the family’s progeny. The film gives an account of the roots and fate of a family, passed on throughout generations – a piece of German post-war history, told from a grandson’s perspective.
